Questions

How are the colours chosen?

The image is shrunk and its pixels grouped into clusters of similar colour; each cluster’s average is one swatch.

Why keep a fixed palette?

Viewers recognise channels by repeated colours and type. Two or three brand colours across thumbnails builds that.

Is my image uploaded?

No. It is analysed in your browser.
