Questions

How much does YouTube pay per 1,000 views?

Most channels earn $1–$10 per 1,000 views (RPM). Finance and business can reach $10–$20; gaming and kids content often earn under $3.

What is the difference between RPM and CPM?

CPM is what advertisers pay per 1,000 ad impressions. RPM is what you earn per 1,000 views, after YouTube’s 45% share and counting views without ads.

Why is my RPM lower than this?

Viewers from lower-paying countries, short videos with fewer ad breaks, and the start of the year all lower RPM.
